Le directeur du musée POLIN Dariusz Stola a été élu « Personnalité de l’année 2017 » dans le domaine de la culture par les lecteurs du journal d’opinion le plus lu en Pologne, « Gazeta Wyborcza ». La décision a été motivée, selon le journal, par son choix d’expositions et d’autres actions du Musée relatives à l’histoire juive et polonaise, présentées de façon inhabituelle, complexe, intéressante et courageuse, sans évite des sujets difficiles.

The head of the POLIN Museum Dariusz Stola was designed as the Person of the Year 2017 in the area of Culture by the readers of the most read journal of opinion in Poland, Gazeta Wyborcza. The decision was motivated, according to the journal, by exhibitions and other action of the Museum relative to the Jewish and Polish history, shown in a way that is unusual, complex, interesting and brave, and that does not avoid difficult subjects.
